About Maria Dramalioti-Taylor

An engineer, angel investor with Angellab and advisor to seed funds. She set up Incito Ventures for FinanceSE, an angel network for women-led tech start ups, co-founded Protos Capital, a £30m startup VC fund looking to spin out corporate tech assets and was on the Advisory Board of the PoCKet fund. She is on the Board of the US venture accelerator Astia and a mentor with Seedcamp, the Startup Leadership Programme and the Accelerator Academy.

She mentored startups like Transferwise, Compilr, Anywhere.me, Improve Digital, SlickFlick and Stingray (sold) and invested in the VC-backed mobile app Pervasic (sold) and Ciphergrid where she became the R&D-award winning CEO alpha-launching a database-in-the-cloud back in 2004.

Maria was a senior manager with Andersen and Ernst &Young working on web technologies and CBI-scholar with Thames Water plc.

She studied engineering at Imperial College London and the National Technical University of Athens, has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and attended the PE & VC executive course at Harvard Business School.

She fences the foil (touché).
